By limousine bus
Buses are the most popular way to Gangnam: suitcases ride underneath and the routes stop right by many of the area's hotels. Pick the route by your hotel's nearest stop on the operator's site.
- Where to board: Terminal 1, outside exits 3–7 on 1F; Terminal 2, the B1 Transportation Center (Seoul-bound stops 11–35).
- Tickets: buy at the ticket booth or machine first. At Terminal 2 every route needs a paper ticket, and drivers don't take credit cards on board.
- Frequency: some routes run only every 45–60 minutes, so check the next departure before you buy.
Landing after the last bus? Two night buses serve Gangnam:

By train (with a transfer)
AREX doesn't reach Gangnam. You can take the all-stop train to Gimpo Airport and change to Seoul Metro Line 9 toward Gangnam, or ride on to Hongik Univ. and change to Line 2. Both work on one transit card and cost the least, but you'll carry your bags through a transfer and a long subway ride.
AREX's rules allow up to two large items per person. With more luggage than that, or kids in tow, the bus is easier.
By taxi
- Seoul city estimates about ₩53,000–₩58,500 on the meter and 80–90 minutes to the InterContinental at Samseong (COEX). Expressway tolls are extra.
- Seoul taxis add 20% from 10pm to 11pm, 40% from 11pm to 2am and 20% from 2am to 4am.
- International Taxis charge fixed zone fares of ₩70,000–₩95,000 from the airport to Seoul.
Private van to Gangnam
A pre-booked van takes your group from arrivals to the door with no transfer. The price is per vehicle and fixed before you fly, with tolls, the name-sign greeting and free waiting for delays included.

Where to meet your driver
- 1
Book at least a day ahead
Online booking closes 24 hours before pickup. Add your flight number so your driver can track your landing time.
- 2
Get your driver's details
The day before, your booking page and email show your driver's name, phone number and car number.
- 3
Land and clear arrivals
Go through immigration, baggage claim and customs. Korean Air, Asiana, Delta and a few partners use Terminal 2; most other airlines use Terminal 1 (airlines by terminal).
- 4
Look for your name sign
Walk out into the public arrivals hall on 1F. Your driver is waiting there with your name on a sign. If your flight is late, they keep waiting at no extra cost.
- 5
Can't see them?
Message the driver team from your booking page (we translate for the driver) or call the number you were sent. Don't go with anyone who walks up offering a ride: Incheon Airport itself warns about unlicensed call vans posing as taxis.
- 6
Straight to your door
Your driver helps load the bags and drives you directly to your hotel or address, with no shared stops. Tolls are already in your price.
