Buses leave Terminal 2 about 20 minutes earlier. Buy your ticket at the ticket booth or machine before boarding. Source: Incheon Airport late-night buses
- Where to board at Terminal 1: stop 3B for N6701 and N6703, stop 6A for N6000 and N6002, outside arrivals on 1F.
- At Terminal 2: the B1 Transportation Center.
- Travel time at night: about 45 minutes to Hongdae (N6002), 60 to Seoul Station (N6701), 65 to COEX (N6703) and 70 to the Gangnam Express Bus Terminal (N6000).
Night buses drop you at a stop, not your hotel. If yours is a long walk from the stop, or the next bus is in two hours, a taxi or a pre-booked car is the better bet.
Taxis late at night
- Taxis wait at the official stands outside arrivals; the airport's taxi page shows a live count of waiting cars.
- Seoul taxis add 20% from 10pm to 11pm, 40% from 11pm to 2am and 20% from 2am to 4am. Deluxe and jumbo taxis add 20% from 10pm to 4am.
- Example: Seoul city's daytime estimate to Myeongdong is ₩47,000–₩52,000. With the 40% surcharge that's roughly ₩66,000–₩73,000, before tolls.
- Use only the official stands: the airport warns about unlicensed call vans posing as taxis.
A pre-booked van for late arrivals
With a pre-booked transfer your driver tracks the flight and waits at no extra cost, so a delay past midnight doesn't leave you stranded. The night surcharge (pickups from 10pm to 4am) is already in the price you see before booking. Online booking closes 24 hours before pickup.
| Going to | Daytime arrival | Arrival 10pm–4am |
|---|---|---|
| Myeongdong | From $125 | From $140 |
| Gangnam | From $140 | From $150 |
| Hongdae | From $125 | From $140 |
| Itaewon | From $125 | From $140 |
| Jamsil | From $150 | From $160 |
Prices are calculated live from our rate table and include tolls, parking, the name-sign greeting and waiting for delayed flights.
Tips for a late landing
- Tell your hotel you'll check in after midnight so your room isn't released.
- Save your hotel's address in Korean on your phone so you can show it to a taxi driver.
- If your flight is delayed past the last train or bus, a pre-booked driver keeps waiting; public transport doesn't.
- Traveling with kids or lots of luggage? See our guide for families and groups.
Where to meet your driver
- 1
Book at least a day ahead
Online booking closes 24 hours before pickup. Add your flight number so your driver can track your landing time.
- 2
Get your driver's details
The day before, your booking page and email show your driver's name, phone number and car number.
- 3
Land and clear arrivals
Go through immigration, baggage claim and customs. Korean Air, Asiana, Delta and a few partners use Terminal 2; most other airlines use Terminal 1 (airlines by terminal).
- 4
Look for your name sign
Walk out into the public arrivals hall on 1F. Your driver is waiting there with your name on a sign. If your flight is late, they keep waiting at no extra cost.
- 5
Can't see them?
Message the driver team from your booking page (we translate for the driver) or call the number you were sent. Don't go with anyone who walks up offering a ride: Incheon Airport itself warns about unlicensed call vans posing as taxis.
- 6
Straight to your door
Your driver helps load the bags and drives you directly to your hotel or address, with no shared stops. Tolls are already in your price.
